Who we are - the Gini Community

Founded in 2011 Gini is a well-established award-winning FinTech company disrupting the banking, e-commerce, and insurance sector. Our most well-known product is our Gini photo payment software assistant, which is integrated into over 90% of German banking apps. With this and other products, we aim to improve everyone's quality of life by simplifying tedious tasks through automation. What’s special about us: We place a high value on autonomy, which we integrate into our daily work life with flat hierarchies. We have four core values that are essential to our collaboration at Gini: Excellence, Opportunities rather than Risks, Love, and Commitment & Responsibility. You can find more details about our values and the way we work together at Gini in our handbook.

We are very proud to have received several awards in recent years, including "Top Employer 2020" from Focus, "Financial Product of the Year 2022," and "Top Company" from kununu for 2023, 2024, and 2025.

We're looking for a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d) who enjoys solving complex design challenges, takes ownership from discovery to delivery, and thrives in a collaborative product environment. You'll work across our Insights and Extraction Platform product teams, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility while helping us establish scalable design processes.

This role is about much more than creating beautiful interfaces. You'll shape end-to-end user experiences, challenge assumptions with research and data, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and help raise the design bar across teams. If you enjoy switching between products, thinking strategically, and turning complex requirements into intuitive experiences, you'll feel right at home.

Your playing field at Gini

  • You shape intuitive, scalable, and user-centered experiences across our product teams, with a strong focus on Insights and Extraction Platform.
  • You collaborate closely with Product, our developers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows into clear, effective product experiences.
  • You drive design processes from discovery to delivery, including research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, usability testing, and final UI design.
  • You contribute to and evolve our design system to help teams build consistent and high-quality user experiences.
  • You bring a strong product design mindset and help teams make design decisions based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

Skills to be successful

  • You have at least 5 years of experience designing native mobile UI/UX for iOS and Android, ideally for digital products in B2B SaaS or other complex platform environments.
  • You have solid experience with user research, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems.
  • You can simplify complex workflows and turn them into elegant, usable product experiences.
  • You collaborate confidently with Product Managers, Engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You have strong visual design skills and attention to detail.
  • You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and influencing design quality across teams.
  • You have excellent communication skills and can explain design decisions clearly in German and English.

  • Flexible working: Mobile working within Germany or from our bright Munich office with two roof terraces
