We’re looking for a motivated QA Working Student (m/f/d) to support our Product Development team. Together with our QA Engineer, you’ll help ensure the quality of our Gini Bank SDK and Gini Health SDK, support release processes, and contribute to smooth, reliable product delivery. This role is ideal for students who want hands-on experience in mobile QA, enjoy working in cross-functional teams, and love digging into details to ensure outstanding product quality.
Your playing field at Gini
- You execute manual tests for the Gini Bank SDK and Gini Health SDK on multiple iOS and Android devices
- You run test cycles and support regression testing
- You create and maintain clear, structured test cases and documentation
- You report and track bugs in Jira and follow up with the team
- You collaborate closely with QA, developers, and product managers, working alongside experienced engineers who support and guide you.
- You take ownership of selected test areas over time
- You participate in team agile rituals rituals, QA syncs, and release preparation
- You contribute to continuously improving our QA workflows and testing best practices
Skills to be successful
- You are enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- You have some initial hands-on experience with manual testing
- You have a basic understanding of mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
- You can write clear and structured documentation
- You are detail-oriented, reliable, and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and improve
- You communicate confidently in English, both written and verbal
- You work at least once per week from our Munich office and may otherwise work from home
Nice-to-Haves
- You have experience in testing SDKs
- You are familiar with QA documentation tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray, QAlity Test)
- You have first exposure to test automation concepts
