“Almost 50 million photo payments are a milestone for us in the company’s history”, said Holger Teske, Co-founder and CEO of Gini GmbH. “We are delighted that our smart solution is so popular and used millions of times. To give something back to our customers, while investing in the quality of life for all of us, we have chosen to support the great Plant-my-Tree project.”
Fast payment with simple application
The smart and popular Gini Pay Photo Payment has been successfully integrated at many major German consumer banks since 2013 and enables users to make quick and easy transfers. It uses artificial intelligence and was developed by the company itself. Gini’s Photo Payment delivers very high extraction quality, speed and security. Via smartphone photo, QR code recognition with payment information or direct sharing of a digital document with the banking app, customers simply pay the invoice amount. The details such as IBAN or amount are read from the document and the transfer mask is filled in fully automatically – users then only have to release the transfer. The time-consuming typing of data is no longer necessary. Gini is subject to the strictest data protection requirements and is certified according to ISO 27001.
