The company continues to expand into new areas of business
Munich, 25 November 2024: Holger Teske, founder and long-standing Managing Director of Gini GmbH, is withdrawing from the operational business. He is ending his role as managing director and will remain a shareholder in the company. His co-managing director, Alexander Jäger, will continue to lead the company as sole CEO with immediate effect.
Holger Teske founded Gini GmbH 14 years ago with two colleagues and developed the company into a strong and innovative partner for German banks and savings banks. The company has recently achieved its first success in the private health insurance sector.
“It has been a fulfilling and enriching time, and I am proud of what we have achieved together with our great team,” says Holger Teske. “The company is in an excellent position. Now is the right time for me to step back from the operational side of the business. After taking some time off with my family, I will move on to new challenges.”
Alexander Jäger, who has been with Gini GmbH for three years and has been managing the company together with Teske for the past year, will drive the company’s further development.

Our payment solution ‘Gini Pay Connect’, which we are currently rolling out in the private health insurance sector in a strategic partnership with Versicherungskammer Bayern and IBM, is an important first step in this direction.
