Versicherungskammer has introduced a new payment solution for customers with private health insurance: Insured persons can now conveniently submit and pay medical bills from within the \u201eMein GesundheitsManager” insurance app using their banking app. The Sparkassen support this process and embed the payment solution from Gini, a provider of innovative payment solutions, into their banking app. Gini Pay Connect acts as a link between the insurance app and the Sparkassen banking app, ensuring that medical services for Versicherungskammer policyholders with a Sparkassen current account are billed conveniently.<\/p>\n

Integration simplifies the payment and billing processes<\/h2>\n

Integrating the payment function completes the range of services offered by \u201eGesundheitsManagers\u201c, covering everything from submitting invoices to receiving reimbursements. Payments to the doctor’s office are transferred to the Sparkasse banking app, where they are executed by the user.<\/p>\n

\u201eGini Pay Connect\u201c transforms the private health insurance app into a central location for all medical bills, enabling insured persons to quickly and easily settle and pay their bills. Gini seamlessly links the reimbursement processes between the customer, the doctor’s practice, and the insurance company, as well as the payment process via the banking app. Insured persons can submit their health bills digitally to their private health insurance company via the app. \u201eGini Pay Connect\u201c then extracts the relevant payment information and, at the customer’s request, forwards it to their Sparkassen app. All that remains is to initiate the transaction.<\/p>\n

The payment function means that the \u201eMein GesundheitsManager\u201c app and the Sparkasse app also meet the expectations of younger policyholders for user-friendly digital solutions. In addition, administrative processes for benefit billing are simplified for insurers.<\/p>\n
