The Gini Pay Connect remittance function, just integrated for the first time at Consorsbank and private health insurer ottonova was recently awarded Financial Product of the Year by Deutsches Institut für Service-Qualität (DISQ) as one of nine product units that entered or will enter the German market between January 2021 and the end of 2022. The award-winning products convinced the jury with their innovative strength as well as customer benefits.
Gini Pay Connect saves users time in otherwise bureaucratic processes: payment information for doctor resp. pharmacy bills, for example, are transferred from the private health insurance app to the banking app with just a few clicks to complete the transfer quickly. This type of cooperation between banks and insurance companies for an improved user experience is a novelty: it significantly simplifies the billing and payment process between private health insurance companies and their insureds.
