As an Account Manager at Gini, you play a key role in acquiring new customers and driving sales of our payment solutions within the insurance sector. We focus on fostering long-term client relationships and sustainable achievements and therefore don't chase quarterly targets. Your mission is to articulate the value of our solutions effectively through market insights and persuasive sales strategies, aiming to forge enduring partnerships. For the start, you will focus on hunting new business and owning the whole sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Your playing field at Gini
- You identify and pursue new business opportunities within the insurance sector, leveraging market insights and networking to expand the customer base
- You develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, using value selling to effectively communicating the value of our products to potential clients
- You manage client relationships through all phases of the sales cycle, providing a consultative, solutions-based sales process
- With your communicative and persuasive personality, you identify customer needs and visions, and recognize opportunities that you successfully integrate into the sales process
- You act as a trusted advisor for all focus accounts, liaising with decision-makers in the customer organization to assess their needs and provide relevant products and services
- You actively share your knowledge, experiences, and learnings with the product and innovation teams to help us constantly evolve and provide higher customer value
Skills to be successful
- You have a minimum of 3 years of working experience in selling enterprise software, cloud services (SaaS), digitalization projects or payment solutions to C-level
- You have demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing technology projects
- You understand value-based selling and possess the business acumen to comprehend customer strategy and industry business drivers
- You are numbers-driven and can build customer-specific business cases to demonstrate value, along with possessing good negotiation skills

You ideally have experience in selling to insurance companies, but it is not a must-have
- You possess very good German and excellent English skills in both verbal and written form
